Briefly installed on a sailboat and (used w/NMEA 2000 network and
a Garmin MFD during summer 2024). Unit is sealed with 5200 and silicone to permanently bond the clear case to the mast for zero chance of leaking/water intrusion. It's not pretty but it's solid!

● Rotating mast that attaches to the SS mount, and holds wind-cups
The AirLink unit worked great and was mounted inside my sailboat and had no
issue getting the data from the mast through the FG cabin-top. It connected to the
NMEA 2000 network with no issues and got wind data on Garmin MFD and
B&G Vulcan charting MFD. There is the option of using 0183 but will require
some minor wiring with the case open (easy to access).
I’m getting older and climbing the mast to install or take down in the winter is no
longer safe for me. As such, I’m having a rigger install a B&G wireless mast unit,
and thus this unit available.
This link provides some photos of the unit and iPhone screen recordings of the
unit feeding data to my phone via the SailTimer apps. This also worked in my
experimentation with the other apps on their website.
