Edson’s Stainless Top Plate is made of investment-cast 316 Stainless and polished to a mirror finish. It will accommodate 1”, 1-1/8” and 1-1/4” pedestal guard tubing on 9-1/2” centers with the provided plastic bushings. Provides rattle-free isolation between the guard tubes and top plate, making future removal easier.
The top plate is secured to the pedestal top by the 1/4-20 compass bolts
3.5" compass bolts,used if there is an engine control collar -
1" compass bolts, used for mounting some compasses directly to the pedestal/top plate when there are no engine controls.
